Gig Harbor is not an afterthought on our map; it is a planned leg of the week. We cross the Narrows early, run the peninsula’s calls as a block, and head back after the last one — which means when we give a Gig Harbor window, it is a window we built the day around. Harborside, Rosedale, Artondale, Gig Harbor North: all in the loop.
The harbor has two housing stories. Down by the water: cottages and older view homes with compact kitchens, quirky retrofits and appliances chosen to fit odd spaces. Up the hill: Harbor Hill and the newer Gig Harbor North subdivisions, where whole streets got the same builder-grade appliance package the same year — which is why neighbors’ dishwashers tend to fail in the same season. We know both stories and carry parts for each.
A meaningful share of harbor properties are second homes and short-stay rentals, where an appliance failure has a booking deadline attached. Give us the turnover date when you call; you will hear plainly whether the fix can beat it, and we will not leave a half-working machine for a guest to discover.
