Fircrest is barely a square mile, which does pleasant things to our arrival windows: once the van crosses Emerson, every address in the city is minutes away. If a Fircrest call comes in while we are finishing in UP or on Tacoma’s west side, same-day service is more often possible here than anywhere else we cover.
Much of Fircrest was built when kitchens were designed around a 30-inch range and not an inch more. Swapping or repairing appliances inside original cabinetry takes finesse — alcoves are tight, floors have settled, and the built-in oven in the brick surround is not coming out without a plan. We measure, pad the floors, and treat original woodwork like it belongs to someone who loves it, because it does.
